Your Customer Success team has developed a best practice checklist to ensure your team is able to focus on getting your solution up and running.
1. Invite Your Team to Create a Blackbaud ID
If you are an Organization Admin, you can invite other admins or users. Each Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT user will need a Blackbaud ID (BBID) to access Blackbaud.com, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, Blackbaud University, and Customer Support.
2. Compile Data for Conversion
The first main priority for your project is to send a copy of your data to Blackbaud. Your data conversion cannot begin until we have usable data. Project plan timeline and overall implementation progression is dependent upon your data submission.
3. Sign Up for Training
Blackbaud University's mission is to accelerate the success of your organization. You should begin taking the required eLearning courses right away to begin building your skillset in your new solution.
This training is critical to your overall success. It will give you a better understanding of your solution and how to design the system.

4. Set Up Blackbaud Merchant Services
Blackbaud Merchant Services (BBMS) makes payment processing simple, secure, and affordable.
Save time with pre-reconciled bank deposited, automatic credit card updates, robust fraud
management tools, and reduced PCI compliance.
Use our BBMS Quick Start Checklist (US | Canada) to compile the information you will need to create your BBMS account.
An Organization Administrator can create your BBMS account using our secure online portal to enter data to provision your account.
5. Complete the Pre-Functional Configuration Survey
This survey serves as a tool for your Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT project. It is designed to assist you in making important organizational decisions.
When paired with the recommended training from Blackbaud University and a design session with your Business Consultant, you will be able to better integrate, analyze, and communicate with your donors.
