1. Invite Your Team to Create a Blackbaud ID

If you are an Organization Admin, you can invite other admins or users. Each Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT user will need a Blackbaud ID (BBID) to access Blackbaud.com, Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT, Blackbaud University, and Customer Support.

2. Compile Data for Conversion

The next main priority for your project is to prepare to send a copy of your data to Blackbaud.  This request will come directly from your Project Team. Your data conversion is a key piece of your project, and this cannot begin until we have usable data. Be sure to know where your data lives and how to export/extract it when the time comes to submit it to Blackbaud.

3. Sign Up for Training

Blackbaud University's mission is to accelerate the success of your organization. You should begin taking the required eLearning courses right away to begin building your skillset in your new solution.

This training is critical to your overall success. It will give you a better understanding of your solution and how to design the system.

4. Set Up Blackbaud Integrated Payments

Blackbaud Integrated Payments makes payment processing simple, secure, and affordable.

Save time with pre-reconciled bank deposited, automatic credit card updates, robust fraud
management tools, and reduced PCI compliance.

Use our Quick Start Checklist (US | Canada) to compile the information you will need to create your account.

An Organization Administrator can create your Blackbaud Integrated Payments account using our secure online portal to enter data to provision your account.

5. Complete the Pre-Functional Configuration Survey

This survey serves as a tool for your Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT project. It is designed to assist you in making important organizational decisions.

When paired with the recommended training from Blackbaud University and a design session with your Business Consultant, you will be able to better integrate, analyze, and communicate with your donors.
