In this phase we will prepare and plan your project before undertaking a business processing, data review and design phase.
Prepare & Design Resources
Kick-Off Call and Scope of Work Review
Task: Your project manager will set up a call to go through areas of the scope of work and kick off the project. The call will include:
- Highlights in the Scope of Work
- Stages of implementation
- Introduction of the implementation methodology
- Introduction of the roles at Blackbaud, gain insight on the roles at your organisation and discuss the collaborative approach
- Checklist of what needs to be done before the project plan is completed
Business Processing & Design
Task: Your consultant will assist you with reviewing your completed Excel workbook conversion document and provide any guidance on improving the data quality. A brief summary document will be provided at the end of this session. Download your Design and Mapping Agenda.
Action: Prepare for this session by completing the steps below
- Complete the Pre-Consulting Survey and return to your consultant and project manager before the first consultancy
- Complete the Hosting Authorisation form and return to your project manager. Verify fields to complete directly with your project manager.
- All attendees for the initial consultancy to have been invited to the Blackbaud website and created a Blackbaud ID and password
- All attendees for the initial consultancy to have attended online instructor led fundamentals training course, specifically
- Raiser’s Edge: Fundamentals - Constituents
- Raiser’s Edge: Fundamentals - Gifts
- All attendees for the initial consultancy to have been added to Raiser’s Edge NXT as a user with Admin rights and downloaded the Citrix receiver
- Confirm the logistics with your consultant
- Ensure consultancy is booked in attendees calendars, individuals are prepared for sessions and bring any procedures to the sessions
Project Plan
Task: Your project manager will book a call after you submit your Unavailable Dates to walk you through your implementation plan. The call will include:
- Line by line review to inform you of what is expected of Blackbaud and your organisation
- How the collaborative approach is implemented in each stage
- Q&A
Updates to Excel Data Document
Task: Based on the discussions during the data review and design sessions, you will spend this time finalising your Excel workbook
Submit Test Extract of Data
Task: Submit your initial copy of data to us
Action:
- Provide your completed Excel document to your conversion programmer via our Blackbaud Secure Thru Box for your test run. Your project manager will provide you the details
