Your Implementation: Deliver & Test
In this phase of the project we will deliver your test database and you will test your data. The different stages of this phase of implementation are listed as follows:

Excel Guide
Test Run
Task: We will complete the first test run of your data into Raiser’s Edge NXT as per the data provided in the Excel Template.
Action: In preparation for the Test Run, ensure that all users who will be testing have:
- Been invited to the website by one of your administrators and have followed the invitation to create their own Blackbaud ID and password. Steps can be found in this article here.
- Completed the Query, Data Analysis and Extraction, Raiser's Edge NXT Webview and Advanced Raiser's Edge Training courses
Upload Test Run to hosted environment
Task: We will send your completed Test Run database to the hosting team for upload
Action: Your consultant will provide you with access to your Test Run database during the Test Assistance consultancy
Test Run Assistance
Task: Your consultant will assist you with understanding the testing process and you will begin testing your Test Run database. Any issues will be noted during this consultancy and will continue to be noted for the duration of the test period. Download your Data Testing Agenda.
Action:
- Ensure that you have attended online Query training prior to the consultancy for best use of this session.
- Set up your BBMS/BBPS Account. These accounts should be set up to verify during this testing phase. Please see the Knowledgebase article below to set up your BBMS/BBPS details. If you experience any problems, please do not hesitate to contact our support team who can help.
Test Run Unit Testing
Task: You will be responsible for completing data testing of your Test Run data as per the testing guide. Download your Testing Guide Instructions.
Action: Ensure that:
- All issues to be added to the issues log by 1 main user
- Testers to designate period of time to testing during this period
- Ensure you complete thorough testing including
- Field placement against source data
- Data counts against source data
- Business process testing
Test Run Issue Review and Sign-Off
Task: Your conversion programmer will be in touch to discuss all Test Run findings and any issues that you have found
Action:
- You must have completed the issues log and return this to your conversion programmer prior to sign off
- Please familiarise yourself with all issues on the log in preparation
- Ensure constituent ID’s have been provided for all issues added to the log
